“Update on SB 792 (Teledentistry) out of senate committee unanimously this morning. Now we wait on Lt. Gov. to recognize Senator Perry on the floor to lay out the bill.”

Thank you to our GAC co-chairs Janessa Bock & Annette Smith. They, along with our lobbyist, Stephanie Smith have worked very hard to help us move this bill through legislation this year, along with the local anesthesia bill (SB 510 & HB 2275) which is still in the public health committee. These bills will increase access to care and allow hygienists to utilize our skills for the betterment of Texans.
