The Greater Austin Dental Hygienists’ Association is a TSBDE approved CE Course Provider. GADHA provides local CEs that are FREE to ADHA members and $40 to dentists, hygienists, and assistants to non-members. The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners require 24 hours of continuing education units every 2 years. Sixteen (16) hours must be technical or scientific to enhance the clinician’s patient care.  We provide between 10-12 hours of CEU per year, well over the requirement for non self-study CE.

In between providing CE to our Austin area hygienists, we also provide volunteer opportunities. GADHA has participated in numerous health fairs, volunteer events, and  partners with local ISDs, nonprofits, and the Veterans Health Administration to help provide oral health services and education to the greater Austin area.
