Angie Stone, RDH BS began her career in the Navy as a dental assistant. She has taught in dental assisting and dental hygiene programs. She has provided onsite education to dental professionals in 44 states, the District of Columbia, and 6 countries and territories. In addition to numerous published articles, her original research regarding xylitol and elders was published in a peer reviewed medical journal in November of 2013. Angie’s Amazon Best Sellers book, Dying From Dirty Teeth, was launched in March of 2015. She is the founder of the HyLife Oral Health Alliance. The mission of the alliance is to keep dependent elders free of dental disease for their life time. Angie is an eight time attendee of Career Fusion and was awarded the Sunstar Award of Distinction in 2012 for her work with xylitol and the geriatric population.

Speaker Carl F. Driscoll, DMD
Program Director, Professor, Diplomate, American Board of Prosthodontics
Dr. Carl F. Driscoll currently serves as a Professor at the University of Maryland Dental School and was the Director of the Prosthodontic Residency for 21 years. He also served in the same capacity at Walter Reed Army medical Center for three years prior to being at Maryland. Dr. Driscoll retired from the U.S. Army after twenty years of service. He is especially proud of being one of very few dental officers selected for Below the Zone (early) promotion to the rank of Colonel. Dr. Driscoll is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) and the Academy of Prosthodontics. Dr. Driscoll has served as President of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, President of the American Board of Prosthodontics, and as President of the ACP. He has been awarded both the Garner-Staffanou and Moulton Awards from the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics and was recently named the ACP’s Educator of the Year. Dr. Driscoll has given over 450 presentations nationally and internationally to study clubs, dental schools, residencies and at major prosthodontics meetings. His lectures are praised by attendees for the quality of the information and for the humor that he injects. He has authored over 75 publications and under his guidance, his residents have won many research awards. In addition, he is in private practice in Bethesda, MD.

Speaker COL David Reeves, DMD

David Reeves obtained his DMD from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1985. Dr Reeves entered the active duty Army as. president in the AEGD/1 program at Ft. Riley, KS. He practiced as a general dentist in the Army for 9 years before entering Army periodontal residency in 1994. Dr Reeves received his Certificate in Periodontics from the US Army Periodontic Resdiency at Ft. Gordon, GA and his M.S. in Oral Biology from the Medical College of Georgia in 1997. COL Reeves completed his board certification with the American Board of Periodontology in 1998. While stationed at Ft. Knox, KY, Dr. Reeves taught as an adjunctive faculty member at the University of Louisvville’s Graduate Periodontics Resicdency. COL Reeves received the Surgeon General’s “A” prefix designator in 2002 and was selected by The Army Surgeon General to act as Consultant to The Surgeon General for Periodontology from 2003-2006. COL Reeves served as the periodontal mentor for the AEGD/2 program and as Chief of Periodontics at Ft. Hood, TX from 2001-2006. After retirement from the Army he maintained a private practice in Cedar Park for 8 years. He currently teaches in the AEGD/1 program at the Central Texas Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Temple, TX and teaches as an adjunctive Professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Austin Community College.
